Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in our ICU. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding medications, treatment instructions, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure with active FL RN licensure within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in critical care.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
