We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure with active Florida licensure within 60 days of hire
- Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- NIHSS certification is also required
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential
