Critical Care Nurse

HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Port Charlotte, Florida. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Critical Care
- Discipline: RN
- Shift: 8 hours, days, flexible
- Employment Type: Staff
Our hospital offers a variety of clinical education programs that let nurses expand upon or build new clinical skills. These programs are offered throughout the year at participating hospitals. We are committed to providing our nurses with the training and resources they need to succeed in their careers.
Critical Care / Progressive Care
- Target Audience: Graduate RNs and Experienced RNs seeking advancement into the critical care / progressive care setting
- Schedule: 5 weeks (Live 8-hour classes each week with concurrent learning in the clinical environment)
Cardiovascular ICU
- Target Audience: Graduate RNs and Experienced RNs new to the CVICU specialty
- Schedule: 3 weeks (Live 8-hour classes each week with concurrent learning in the clinical environment)
Emergency Room
- Target Audience: Graduate RNs and Experienced RNs who have transitioned into the ER setting from other specialties/departments
- Schedule: 3 days plus a skills day (Live classes include classroom and simulation lab instruction)
OR/CVOR
- Target Audience: Graduate RNs and Experienced RNs new to the Operating Room or CVOR setting
- Schedule: 10 weeks (Live 8-hour classes each week with concurrent learning in the clinical environment)
Cardiac Cath Lab
- Target Audience: Graduate RNs and Experienced RNs new to the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Schedule: 6 weeks (Live 8-hour classes twice per week with concurrent learning in the clinical environment)
