Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.
  • Research and resolve coverage questions, providing clear and concise explanations to policyholders.
  • Promptly respond to client needs, either through phone or electronic communication, ensuring their concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, processing routine correspondence between our agency and clients or companies.
  • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling, providing policyholders with tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Assist with other office duties as needed, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, providing appropriate solutions and monitoring the situation to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Track current marketing activities, enabling you to respond to insurance-related inquiries with the necessary resources.
  • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies based on the information provided.
  • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies.
  • Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in an in-person setting, requiring a reliable means of transportation and living within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator.
  • Quick and accurate typing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organized, structured, punctual, and willing to follow rules.
  • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest.
  • Property and Casualty license preferred, with the requirement to obtain it within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Previous experience working in the insurance industry is a bonus, but we will provide training and education to the successful candidate.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred.
  • Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required.
