Job Summary

The Field Service Technician - Equipment Specialist is responsible for traveling to customer locations for installations, training, service, and troubleshooting Forpak equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of field service experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide service and customer support during field visits.
Manage on-site installation, start-up support, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
Diagnose errors and technical problems to determine proper solutions.
Document processes and procedures.
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings.
Build positive relationships with customers.
Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Cooperate with the Forpak technical team and management to share information across the organization.
Follow all company's field procedures and protocols.
Operate rental vehicles in a safe manner.

Requirements

High school diploma, technical degree preferred.
5+ years of field service experience.
Strong understanding of mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and electrical components.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to customer locations and may involve working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to pounds and work in a safe and efficient manner.
