About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the function of our client's Fulfillment Center operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
  • Automated Systems Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Inventory Management: Track and store department inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster positive working relationships with RME business partners and Operations Maintenance team members.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year of related experience and/or training.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more, and perform tasks that require stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Apprenticeship or Equivalent Experience: 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • MHE Safety Standards: Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
  • CMMS Experience: Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Automated Conveyor Systems: 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • Predictive and Preventative Maintenance: 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
