Community Health Association of Spokane is committed to improving the overall health of the communities we serve by providing top-notch dental care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting providers in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and escort patients to assigned dental chairs
  • Review and update patient charts
  • Assist dental providers with procedures, exams, and patient education
  • Take x-rays as needed
  • Ensure dental exam areas are clean, stocked, and ready for patients
  • Clean, prepare, and sterilize instruments
  • Answer phones and schedule patients as needed
  • Observe and follow safety protocols
  • Obtain vitals, including blood pressure and blood glucose measurements

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or CHAS Health dental assistant training
  • Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification preferred
  • Valid Dental Assistant Registration licensure in the state of Washington required at time of hire
  • BLS (CPR/AED) certification required
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required
