Key Responsibilities:

As a Patient Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering scheduling and administrative support to patients while prioritizing exceptional patient care.

On any given day, you may be the reason a patient has a positive experience. Your role will contribute to enhancing their lives daily. Build strong connections with patients, physicians, and team members and discover your community at Reno Orthopedic Center.

The Reno Orthopedic Center is expanding with additional operating suites and welcoming new surgeons to our team.

What to Expect:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients referred from other healthcare providers;
  • Engage with patients, various hospital departments, and physician offices to efficiently schedule and guide patients through the Reno Orthopedic Center systems with a patient-centered approach;
  • Coordinate different types of office appointments;
  • Accurately input patient demographic data into electronic medical records;
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with patients.

Requirements:

Certifications/Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

Previous customer service experience;

Proficiency in using computer systems and applications, including data entry and typing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in scheduling medical appointments;

Experience in performing administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phone calls, and documenting interactions.
