As a Diesel Mechanic at WM, you will perform preventive maintenance services and inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment under general supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisition new parts.
- Perform all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
- Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver's license and must have a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Normal setting for this job is: repair/maintenance shop.
The expected base pay rate for this position across the U.S is $36. This pay rate represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
