Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Watts Water Technologies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing varied mechanic repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as performing building maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Remove old equipment and install new.
  • Answer questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and general and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Perform weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment and eliminate all hazards.
  • Understand proper LOTO procedures.
  • Possess strong rigging background with safety background.
  • Oversee crane inspections and repairs.
  • Ensure maintenance welding and specifying parts needed for proper repairs.
  • Possess working knowledge of Low Voltage, 120V, 220 single phase, and 230V, 480V Three Phase.
  • Possess VFD and PLC experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for trouble shooting, repairs, and process and safety improvements.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting.
  • Strong working knowledge in Pneumatics and Hydraulics (Troubleshooting).
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and write clearly.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good judgment abilities to seek problem resolution.
  • Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience with exposure to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and machine and equipment repairs required.
  • Must be available for weekend and holiday call-ins or for scheduled maintenance service work as needed.
