Position Overview:

This essential role entails managing the daily operations of case management activities at ChildNet, providing critical support and direction to Dependency Case Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and inspire Dependency Case Managers to achieve their work goals effectively.
  • Offer guidance, review, and assist Dependency Case Managers in drafting court documentation.
  • Support Dependency Case Managers in overcoming administrative challenges to ensure timely child placement permanency, facilitating smooth case progress.
  • Ensure that team members' objectives align with the organization's core values and mission.
  • Maintain precise record-keeping, documentation, child advocate court report preparation, and relevant statistics in adherence to legal standards and organizational policies.
  • Engage in various meetings, including permanency conferences, advocate training programs, and court proceedings as necessary.
  • Promptly inform Dependency Case Managers about staff assignments, meetings, and court schedules.
  • Serve as the primary contact with the Department of Children and Families and other pertinent agencies regarding the internal Dependency Case Management team under daily oversight.
  • Manage employee discipline and termination in accordance with organizational policies when required.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the organization.
Qualifications:

Experience:
  • A minimum of two (2) years in Human Services or Child Welfare programs.
  • Previous experience as a Case Manager.
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Child Welfare Professional Certification is essential.
