Job Summary: Mountain Shadows Support Group is seeking a skilled Behavior Therapist to join our team in San Marcos. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work in an innovative adult therapeutic day program, providing supervision, training, and personal care to clients with behavioral needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with assigned clients, providing supervision, training, and personal care in a therapeutic day program setting.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and implement individualized plans for clients.
- Provide vocational training opportunities and support socialization and community integration.
- Assist clients with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- 21 years or older.
- Valid California Driver's license and 3 years of satisfactory driving record.
- 6 months of behavior experience.
- Currently Pro-Act certified or within 3 months of hire.
- Pass a Drug/Alcohol screening.
- Pass a health screening and TB test.
- Pass a criminal background clearance through the Department of Justice.
Compensation: $20-$28 per hour.
