We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at the Verbal Behavior Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior, utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Assist with patient assessments and evaluations, collaborating with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and treatment protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent data collection and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Competitive hourly rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
- Part-time/Full-time schedule: 10 – 25 hours per week
