Job Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians, providing essential support to children with special needs and autism in the San Diego area.

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly compensation and flexible scheduling, with hours typically between 2-8 PM, Monday to Friday, and optional weekend availability.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical supervisors to develop and implement behavior plans, track progress, and maintain a professional relationship with clients and their caregivers.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and have at least one year of experience working with children.

We provide training and support to ensure your success in this position.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
  • At least one year of experience working with children
  • Negative TB test results and clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting (provided and paid for by us)
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Proof of ability to work in the USA

Job Description:

  • Perform behavior training for children in their home (training provided)
  • Follow the behavior plan designed by the clinical supervisor
  • Track the overall progress of the child
  • Aid supervisor in identifying new problem behavior
  • Inform the case supervisor of changes in family dynamics or any parent concerns/questions
  • Inform the supervisor of any changes in the client's schedule
  • Maintain a professional relationship with the client and their caregivers
