A.R. Mazzotta is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Part-Time Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for supporting the finance department and contributing to the accuracy of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy of financial transactions.
- Recording invoices received and approved to the Accounts Payable schedule.
- Allocating certain invoices to the Chart of Accounts before recording.
- Paying bills and analyzing bills for vendor performance.
- Accounts Receivable: collection calls, invoicing shipments to customers, posting payments, and preparing bank deposits.
- General office support: ordering supplies, maintaining/updating files, and preparing reports as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 1 year experience working in an accounting department.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30 depending on experience. We offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth and development.
