Inpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in our inpatient unit.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of physical therapy needs, including stroke, brain injury, amputation, and neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their maximum level of function and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy services to patients in our inpatient unit.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants and aides as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
- Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
