Physical Therapist for Inpatient Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment to patients recovering from injury, disease, or physical disability.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy treatments and modalities, such as exercises, stretches, and manual therapy, to help patients achieve their maximum level of functioning.
- Assist patients in learning to live within the limits of their capabilities and participate in activities that promote independence and mobility.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of physical therapy assistants and aides to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Participate in operational aspects of the department, including performance improvement activities and quality control initiatives.
- Ensure that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.
- Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
- Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
