Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our beautiful assisted living facility in Palmetto, GA. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality patient care and achieve excellent treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
  • Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
