Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Home Sales Representative to join our team at Tri Pointe Homes Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling new homes and delivering an exceptional customer experience in our assigned communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing: Utilize all available sales and marketing resources to achieve sales and closing goals for assigned communities.
  • Traffic Driving: Actively participate in traffic driving efforts, including follow-up phone calls, public and broker events, and other initiatives to drive sales.
  • Customer Engagement: Meet and greet prospective customers, collect registration materials, and provide tours of homesites and lots to familiarize customers with community layouts.
  • Sales Presentations: Engage in the company's defined selling process, deliver effective sales presentations, and seek to close prospective customers by asking closing-related questions.
  • Product Knowledge: Sell the benefits of our communities, company reputation, and product quality, and understand the power of our brand and unique customer value proposition.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, explain benefits of energy efficiency and green features, and discuss the home building and home buying process.
  • Documentation: Process sales documentation, including completing purchase agreements, and perform follow-up to ensure successful sales closures.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, teams, and individuals to ensure a seamless process from model home setup to sale and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate and respond to external and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Inform management of opportunities, problems, progress, and support needed, and work to resolve issues quickly and appropriately.
  • Backlog Management: Manage backlog, maintain strong lines of communication with customers post-purchase decision, and resolve any issues or problems.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and host broker previews, promotional events, and other activities at assigned communities.
  • Reporting: Meet all reporting deadlines in a timely and consistent manner, and input, update, and utilize data in the company's CRM system to drive sales activities.
  • Market Research: Develop knowledge of competitor policies, programs, pricing, and products, and provide feedback to management to ensure appropriate team members and management are kept abreast of changes in the market.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License: Real estate license, if required by state law.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of previous sales experience required, with new home sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of sales programs, policies, and procedures, current working knowledge of homebuilding and the residential real estate industry, ability to prepare, plan, and deliver clear and persuasive sales presentations, and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
