Position Overview:
The Physical Therapist will implement a tailored physical therapy program, which includes treatment, planning, execution, education, re-evaluation, and communication to enhance the client's progress towards the objectives outlined in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
The Physical Therapist will also foster a collaborative working relationship with fellow team members.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver services to clients as per the treatment plan, assess, and document clients' progress.
Communicate progress to parents and recommend activities they can engage in with their child to support and enhance the physical therapy program.
Strive to enhance their understanding of the program and address any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Conduct regular evaluations to track progress in accordance with professional standards.Participate in team meetings to review and discuss client skill evaluations as demonstrated during sessions.
Stay informed on current professional literature and attend workshops regularly to maintain and advance professional competencies.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Possession of a Physical Therapist License in the State of NJ.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
