Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Huntington Park, California.

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to address physical therapy needs.
  • Conduct clinical testing and assessments to determine muscle strength, reflexes, sensation, coordination, range of motion, and other sensory motor skills.
  • Administer or prescribe modalities and other physical agents to promote healing and recovery.
  • Develop and implement exercise programs to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Physical Therapist License - Applicant (California) required at hire OR Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Member APTA.
  • Prefer 2 years acute care experience, 1 year critical care experience (ICU), expertise in cardiac and stroke rehab.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
