Position Overview

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000.

As the Event Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting memorable experiences for our guests. This position requires a dynamic, organized, and strategic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. We seek an individual who can inspire the team and infuse energy, style, and excitement into our service offerings.
  • Oversee the arrangement, presentation, and service of all banquet functions in accordance with event specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the Events & Catering team to meticulously plan and execute events.
  • Engage actively in meetings with event coordinators and during Banquet Event Order discussions.
  • Maintain a strong presence with guests, welcoming them upon arrival and addressing any concerns to their satisfaction.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the team's knowledge and skills in banquet service.
  • Participate in employee engagement and community outreach initiatives.
  • Lead daily team briefings to ensure alignment and motivation.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a related environment, including supervisory duties.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong and effective communication abilities.
  • Well-developed time management skills.
  • Prior leadership experience in food and beverage operations within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Familiarity with InfoGenesis point of sale systems.
  • Proficient in Google Suites.
  • Food Handlers certification is required.
  • Valid Tuberculosis (TB) clearance is mandatory for all Food & Beverage roles.
