Sales and Service Route Driver

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Service Route Driver to provide exceptional onsite service for parts washer machines, collect containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Health and Safety
  • Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and always act in a safe manner.
  • Visit Customer Sites
  • Visit 10-12 customer sites per day to provide service and sell products.
  • Switch Out Drums and Service Machines
  • Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions and service parts washer machines.
  • Upsell and Generate Leads
  • Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
  • Service Automotive Repair, Fleets, and Manufacturing Businesses
  • Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses.
  • Complete Daily Scheduled Services
  • Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner.
  • Follow Compliance Regulations
  • Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
  • Safely Operate Vehicles
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Observe Environmental Health and Safety Guidelines
  • Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
  • Perform Other Duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Class B CDL
  • Hold a valid Class B CDL.
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
  • Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic Computer and Math Skills
  • Have basic computer and math skills.
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills

  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Have strong customer service skills.
  • Perform Physical Functions
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements.
  • Background Check, Drug Test, and Physical
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
  • OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard
  • Meet facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Commercial Route Driving Experience
  • Have commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL).
