About the Role

The Banquet Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of events at the Rainbow Room. This includes overseeing the execution of Banquet Event Orders, leading daily pre-shift meetings, and maintaining high standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Execution: Properly and efficiently execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Leadership and Communication: Participate and lead daily pre-shift meetings to discuss shift-related issues and provide staff with necessary information.
  • Client Satisfaction: Anticipate and address guest service needs as they arise and resolve all matters where expectations are not met.
  • Department Maintenance: Ensure that Banquet storage facilities, uniform, and other Banquet areas are maintained, organized, and hygienic.
  • Policy Development: Assist with the development and maintenance of all policies, procedures, and quality standards within the department to ensure a high-quality, cost-effective, and customer-focused operation.
  • Financial Management: Assist with the annual budgeting process and monthly financial statements.
  • Guest Relations: Become acquainted with our existing regular patrons and develop relationships with new guests.
About You

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Banquet Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Banquet Manager in a luxury hotel, catering, or events setting.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent, including payroll and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
