Job Title: Surgical Technologist - ENT, Plastics, Eyes Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in Madison, WI.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing the Operating Room prior to surgery, promoting the safety of the patient during surgery, and providing assistance to the surgeon during surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENT, Plastics, and Eye surgery, with a minimum of two years of scrub experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Care for the patient during surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Care for the instruments and supplies used in surgery, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to promote the safety of the patient.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Strong background in ENT, Plastics, and Eye surgery.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY.
  • Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.
