Job Title: Financial Manager

Garden Spot Communities is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the finance department and manage schedules to ensure timely workflows in the areas of Billing, Cash Receipts and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Comply with established policies and procedures and maintain established standards and practices including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
  • Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times.
  • Manage the accounting for multiple Point of Sale systems.
  • Maintain revenue-based statistics for management reporting.
  • Oversee the collections process across all revenue streams.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and review reports requested by residents.
  • Support the Finance Department with other strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.


Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Senior Living or Healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
