About the Job
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance department at the Comfort Suites in Redmond, Oregon. This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to lead and motivate a team of maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules
  • Complete work orders and ensure proper documentation
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Train and develop maintenance staff
  • Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations
  • Manage vendor relationships and obtain pricing and bids as needed
  • Monitor supplies and maintain tools and equipment

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of college or vocational training preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

Salary:
This role offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - 50,000 per year, based on experience.
