Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Nonprofit CRM Data Specialist to support our Development Team during the migration from Blackbaud Raiser's Edge to a new CRM platform.

About the Role

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management, CRM migration, and nonprofit fundraising operations. As a Nonprofit CRM Data Specialist, you will assist the development team with tasks such as data cleanup, migration support, system configuration, and the creation of documentation to ensure the successful implementation and long-term use of the new CRM platform.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Migration
    • Review and clean up existing donor records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Validate data for completeness and alignment with the new CRM platform requirements.
    • Assist in mapping existing data fields to the new system and testing the migration process.
  • CRM Implementation and Configuration
    • Support the configuration of the new CRM platform, including setting up fields, workflows, and automation.
    • Assist in creating and managing fundraising campaigns within the new platform.
    • Participate in testing new features and ensuring proper system functionality.
  • Process Documentation and Training
    • Help define and document best practices for CRM management and data entry for the Development Team.
    • Assist in creating training materials and sessions for staff to ensure effective use of the new CRM platform.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the development team, external consultants, and CRM implementation partners to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
    • Provide ongoing support and updates to the development team during the migration process.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Assist in generating reports on donor activity, fundraising outcomes, and data integrity.
    • Monitor the quality of migrated data and help address discrepancies as needed.
    Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; knowledge of data migration processes is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about nonprofit operations and fundraising.

Estimated Salary: $20-$25 per hour
