Job Title: Buyer II

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer II to join our team at Sunrise Systems. As a Buyer II, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding MRP messages to convert them into raw material purchase orders and plans to meet production/forecast demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement and Sourcing:
• Analyze MRP messages to identify raw material requirements
• Convert MRP messages into purchase orders and plans
• Interface with production, sales, purchasing, and suppliers to schedule purchase orders

Supplier Management:
• Host supplier calls and in-person meetings to discuss performance
• Work with Quality and Supplier Quality to resolve manufacturing material quality and supply issues

Inventory Management:
• Manage safety stock levels to minimize downtime due to shortages
• Implement and manage supplier VMI programs to reduce inventory

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of years of purchasing experience with material planning experience using MRP, ERP

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $ per hour. Compensation may be affected by factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
