Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
- Provide technical support to nursing staff, including performing procedures and administering medications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP or NCCT or an accredited community college program or a THR approved program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training within 60 days of hire
