Job Title: Utility Worker (Dietary Services)

Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. As a Utility Worker in our Dietary Services department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room area, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room area, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Assume dishwashing and pot responsibilities, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Receive and store incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory and stock levels.
  • Deliver patient meal trays to units, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Assemble patient food trays in accordance with specified dietary requirements, ensuring accurate and safe food preparation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer food service experience in a hospital, healthcare, or hospitality setting. Knowledge of basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety, and infection control practices preferred.
