Job Summary:
The Critical Care Nurse functions as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team. This role involves independently planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while performing related duties as necessary.
The nurse assesses patients' needs for nursing care, ensures continuity of care through effective discharge planning, patient education, and coordination of services, and serves as an advocate for patients and their families.
This position requires demonstrating and modeling the full spectrum of nursing professional practice, both in the care provided to patients and in developing strategies to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness at the unit level.
This patient demographic presents varying levels of acuity, necessitating tailored care plans. Our nursing team is exceptionally skilled in delivering compassionate care. Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
