Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans, implementing and documenting nursing care as needed.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of the practice of the RN.
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • NIHSS (can be completed after hire)
