The Guest Services Representative will be the initial point of contact for guests, creating a warm and professional atmosphere.

Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and register guests, ensuring all essential information is gathered and accurately recorded in the system.
  2. Process cash and credit transactions, ensuring the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each day.
  3. Respond to phone inquiries and provide timely, professional assistance.
  4. Manage reservations and cancellations, ensuring precision and compliance with company policies.
  5. Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, sharing information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and events.
  6. Address guest complaints and resolve issues swiftly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  7. Complete daily administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times.
  9. Collaborate with other hotel personnel to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in front desk or customer service roles within the hospitality sector.
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems.
  5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. Strong attention to detail and capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  8. Familiarity with the local area and attractions is a plus.
