Restaurant Manager Job Description

About the Role:

The Restaurant Manager is a key member of the On The Border team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and maintenance.
  • Staff Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Quality and Service: Maintain high standards of quality and service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including marketing initiatives and promotions.
  • Financial Management: Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
  • Community Involvement: Represent On The Border in the local community, participating in events and initiatives that promote our brand and values.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in full-service or casual dining.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop others.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
