As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to providing exceptional inspection equipment and calibration services. You will oversee the complete sales and calibration process at KTA, from pinpointing potential clients to fostering enduring relationships with our valued customers. Your dynamic sales approach will not only guide clients regarding our inspection equipment and calibration services but will also promote the KTA brand.

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Engaging in compelling customer conversations that establish KTA as the leading authority in inspection equipment sales, calibration, and repair.
  • Delivering prompt and precise responses to customer inquiries about our extensive product offerings.
  • Mastering and communicating the detailed technical specifications of our state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring customers receive only the highest quality products.
  • Providing quick product and service cost estimates upon customer requests.
  • Efficiently managing orders, calculating shipping costs, generating invoices, and processing both domestic and international customer equipment orders.
  • Developing new business relationships and enhancing existing customer loyalty through in-person meetings, follow-up communications, and engaging emails.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, logging communications, and processing sales orders through our systems.
  • Representing KTA at local, regional, and national trade shows and networking events.

Qualifications That Will Lead to Your Success:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in sales and customer relations (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Fundamental knowledge of general office skills, computer usage, and basic accounting principles.
  • A readiness to travel domestically for client visits, trade shows, networking events, and sales meetings as needed.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, proficient typing skills, effective communication abilities, capability to safely lift 50 pounds, and manual dexterity to handle various instruments and gauges.
