Job Overview

As a Quality Control Specialist at FFP on the 2nd shift, you will be integral in upholding the safety and excellence of our products. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections and evaluations of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods. You will also engage in the maintenance and troubleshooting of databases, alongside the creation and revision of quality documentation. Effective collaboration with various teams and clear communication regarding food safety and quality matters will be essential in this position. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) will greatly enhance our quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials and products
  • Maintain and troubleshoot quality databases
  • Create and modify quality assurance documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues
  • Analyze data and provide insights for quality improvement
  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Adhere to 2nd shift work schedule

Qualifications

  • Experience in a laboratory or quality control setting
  • Familiarity with GMPs and manufacturing protocols
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in database management and digital documentation
  • Able to review and interpret data effectively
