Project Manager

At Global Earthworks & Underground, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile and critical projects, leading team members in the development and production of deliverables that meet our high-quality standards.
The successful candidate will be a technical thought leader, participating in multiple aspects of the construction process, including general construction management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in regular meetings with leadership to review progress, discuss concerns, and identify successes.
- Lead project delivery by delegating technical/design tasks and coaching team members.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project execution.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Lead QA/QC processes for projects and advise on necessary team-wide changes.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on reports, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of professional liability, quality procedures, and other engineering/technical skills.
- Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and the latest industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working in a team environment and handling client interactions professionally.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
This position requires in-person work in a professional, business casual office environment.
