About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping architects and engineers bring their visions to life by designing and implementing energy-efficient electrical systems that prioritize public safety and building security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop three-phase power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting, fire alarm systems, and grounding systems that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to ensure precise designs that meet project requirements.
  • Travel to project sites to ensure contractors adhere to design specifications and provide technical guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on building systems and power distribution.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations, including NEC and IBC.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with commercial building projects and retail developments.
  • Interest in pursuing EIT/PE certification.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed.
