Job Title: Animal Care Supervisor

At Petco, we're passionate about creating a healthier, brighter future for pets, pet parents, and people. As an Animal Care Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver Companion Animal department sales goals, gross margin, animal, and merchandise shrink targets.
  • Coach and mentor partners in processes to support and drive the guest experience and animal care.
  • Ensure operational standards are maintained in the department, including animal care, aquatics, and companion animal maintenance.
  • Partner with the Operations Leader - Merchandising to ensure proper in-stock merchandise levels and achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and implement business improvement plans to drive sales and profitability.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent required; some college-level business/management courses preferred.
  • 1 or more years of management experience or the equivalent is required, with 2 or more years preferred.
  • Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Proficiency in communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills required to include: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications as needed.
