Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch medical care and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture built on respect, learning, and exceptional service.
  • Provide professional, efficient, and quality medical care to patients while maintaining maximum productivity.
  • Obtain patient medical history and vital statistics.
  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Restrain pets during exams as needed.
  • Update patient medical records and documentation.
  • Perform laboratory tests and provide results to veterinarians.
  • Educate clients about pet health needs and preventative care.
  • Administer medications and injections under veterinarian supervision.
  • Support a practice environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from a two-year veterinary technology program with AVMA accreditation.
  • State-recognized veterinary technician certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) with credentials in good standing.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of veterinary hospital practices and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of medical equipment and terminology.
  • Basic proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Practice Management software.
