Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial reporting aspects for client accounts, serving as the main liaison with various departments, including risk management, corporate controllership, tax, and legal.
  • Facilitate communication and processes for client service teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of financial reporting and regulatory submissions.
  • Guide and develop members of the accounting team.
  • Collaborate with external service providers, such as actuaries, auditors, investment managers, brokers, claims adjusters, and legal counsel to proactively address client needs.
  • Communicate and implement changes in business plans with state regulators.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations during client board meetings.

Qualifications for Success

  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Accounting degree, CPA, or relevant insurance designations preferred.

  • Proven track record of enhancing efficiency and improving processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in client presentations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to understand and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking work environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$145,000 annually, varying based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.

This position is eligible for participation in Aon's annual incentive plans, which may include an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
