Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and evaluating their performance.
  • Develop and Implement Cleaning Programs: Develop and implement cleaning programs to ensure a clean and attractive environment for our guests and employees.
  • Establish and Maintain Standards: Establish and maintain high standards for cleanliness and customer service, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage Supplies and Equipment: Requisition and manage supplies and equipment within established budgetary guidelines, ensuring that our housekeeping department has the necessary resources to perform its duties effectively.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations: Monitor and improve housekeeping operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA guidelines, Right-To-Know Act, and Blood-Borne Pathogens.
  • Lead by Example: Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service within the housekeeping department.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three to five years of experience in professional office management, cleaning environment, and/or cleaning of large public areas facilities.
  • Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, facilities management, or related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills, strong organizational and leadership abilities, ability to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds without difficulty, and ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
