We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Lafayette. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their heating and cooling systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and coworkers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate quotes for replacements or repairs.
  • Complete proposed work as quoted, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Participate in on-call assignments and backup as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments and company policies.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Work efficiently and effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting equipment up to 75 lbs, crawling, climbing, and using hand and power tools.

Requirements:

  • EPA certification and experience in residential HVAC service and sales.
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems, quote prices, and perform repairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in their homes and businesses.
  • Knowledge of residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems, and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
  • Willingness to attend training sessions to expand knowledge and areas of expertise, with opportunities for further certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and company goals.
