Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Concentra Network Services. As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and developing programs of preventative physical care for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer first-aid treatment and life support care to sick or injured persons in a pre-hospital setting.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive injury and illness prevention program for employees.
  • Act as liaison between employee/employer and Concentra Onsite Medical Center to arrange physical evaluations and coordinate post-injury rehabilitation for employees.
  • Provide physical conditioning and wellness training to employees.
  • Conduct CPR/First Aid/Blood borne Pathogens Training.
  • Determine nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of catastrophe, to establish first aid procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance.
Requirements
  • Valid state EMT-P Certification/EMS license, required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • ACLS course completion required.
  • At least two or more years of EMT/Paramedic experience.
  • Experience to include participating in various administrative educational or medical support services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of therapeutic modalities to apply appropriate treatment to treat injuries.
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures and all processes involved in the delivery of a comprehensive medical program for employees.
  • Medical knowledge of techniques and information needed to treat human injuries coupled with the ability to apply that knowledge to administer first aid/emergency care.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, biology, and human behavior and performance.
