Job Summary

Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled ALS Paramedic to join our transport team. As a critical care transport specialist, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the transport environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the transport environment
  • Orient, train, and manage transport personnel
  • Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care
  • Maintain positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units
  • Participate in education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel

Requirements

  • Eligibility for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associates Degree (Preferred)
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 1 Year experience performing critical care interfacility transport (Preferred)
  • 3 Years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMT-Paramedic (Preferred)
  • License/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, EMT-P, DRIVER, EMSVO, CCP-C, NREMT, NRP, PALS, PHTLS
