Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all physical security for the Summit building, including providing security assistance for tenants and managing the building security desk.
  • Manage security assessments of the Summit and implement security upgrades.
  • Manage security card access systems at the Summit and all other PR offices, overseeing activation and deactivation of security cards.
  • Monitor security cameras for the Summit and other PR offices.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the Summit perimeter, parking garage, and office floors, responding appropriately to security incidents.
  • Provide security assistance to other departments as needed.
  • Provide security for company events and offer recommendations to event coordinators to optimize event security.
  • Oversee security services for PR executives when necessary, including at industry events.
  • Coordinate responses to security incidents in the field, including incidents of oilfield theft, by cooperating with relevant authorities at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local authorities in areas where PR operates.
  • Create and manage security budgets, ensuring all expenses stay within budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in internal company security, preferably at an oil and gas company.
  • Proven experience in law enforcement, including relevant law enforcement or peace officer certifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary to oversee events and react to security incidents.
