Position Summary
The Minimally Invasive Surgical Solutions Specialist (MISS) plays a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge surgical solutions to healthcare facilities, focusing on the GelPOINT V-Path Transvaginal Access Platform and GelSeal technologies. This position involves collaborating with the Field Implementation team to devise and execute strategic sales initiatives aimed at fostering long-term growth for these innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a focused quarterly sales strategy to drive revenue and surpass sales targets.
- Engage with high-volume surgical centers to advocate for our GelPOINT V-Path Transvaginal Access Platform and Gel technologies.
- Provide clinical expertise and support for all surgical products utilized in procedures.
- Schedule meetings with influential leaders and decision-makers within large health systems to discuss Applied Medical's minimally invasive programs, particularly in Colorectal and GYN specialties.
- Promote the adoption of our GelPOINT V-Path Transvaginal Access Platform and Gel technologies by targeting key figures in the medical community.
- Act as a representative of the Applied Medical brand in competitive settings.
- Collaborate with corporate accounts and Field Implementation divisions to ensure a cohesive strategy.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device sales with a demonstrated history of success.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) and manage related expenses.
- Proven self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must meet third-party credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
