Job Opportunity: Asset Manager - Bankruptcy Team

PRP Advisors is seeking a skilled Asset Manager to join our Bankruptcy team in Winston Salem. This role is a hybrid onsite position that requires collaboration with a dedicated group of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

The Asset Manager will work in an iterative, fast-paced environment with the transaction and asset management teams on various data-focused projects, including:

  • Reviewing reports and following up on servicer requests to facilitate handling
  • Managing assigned loan portfolios, systems of record, and direct follow-up items with internal and external parties
  • Managing daily dashboard reports to confirm loans are moving through processes, identify issues, and provide direction accordingly
  • Reviewing bankruptcy case dockets and pleadings for required action and strategy to maximize efficiency and reduce risk
  • Bridging the gap between loan servicers and attorney firms
  • Participating in continuous improvement efforts of process development and other key areas of focus
  • Assisting with special projects with individual responsibility as part of a team effort

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Bankruptcy case management
  • Excel, LPS, Tempo, and FiServ experience is helpful but not necessary
  • Ability to read and interpret bankruptcy pleadings
  • Problem-solving skills with a sense of recognizing opportunities, understanding risks, and acting quickly to overcome obstacles
  • Working knowledge of loan servicing systems, such as FiServ and LPS, is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and consistently maintain a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Multitasking skills in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication with multiple servicers and internal business units
  • Strong team player with a high level of professionalism
