Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Asset Management Specialist to lead our asset management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of asset management principles, particularly in relation to contracts and subscriptions, and have a strong background in the hardware technology industry.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

  • Develop and implement asset management processes and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.
  • Monitor asset performance, utilization, and depreciation to optimize resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular asset audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate asset records.

Contract and Subscription Management

  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments related to hardware assets.
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms, including payment schedules, service level agreements (SLAs), and warranty obligations.
  • Manage subscription renewals and coordinate subscription-based services.

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hardware vendors such as Cisco, HP, Amazon, Nvidia, and Facebook.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address asset-related issues and ensure timely product and service delivery.

Data Analysis

  • Analyze asset data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset performance and utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in asset management, ideally within the hardware technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of contract and subscription management.
  • Experience working with major hardware vendors like Cisco, HP, Amazon, Nvidia, and Facebook.
  • Proficiency with asset management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in asset management or a related field.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
